Good morning!  I feel like it has been forever since I have connected with you.  I have been in the fast lane.  Today, I thought I would take a deep Mauri-1breath and catch you up on what has been happening in our lives and at Sherman Provision.  Many of you may already know this; however for those of you that don’t, Channel 8, New Day Cleveland, will be in our Meat Market on Thursday April 23rd at 1:00 p.m. to film the Butcher making his famous sausage.  This is such an honor and we are not taking it lightly.  We have been trying to make sure everything is in place to make this a successful venture.  I have been just a little bit stressed and I have been trying to hide it from the Butcher, without much success.  Also, Friday is the Butcher’s birthday.  This is going to be quite the celebratory week.

If any of you are available on Thursday, please stop by the meat market for the filming of the show.  If you don’t want to be on TV they will honor that request.

Also, an update on my Paleo lifestyle.  I am still enjoying eating Paleo and am maintaining my weight at 113 pounds.  I don’t like to bore you with this information; However, if this will work for me I feel it will work for anyone.  I just want to encourage you with my results.

Lastly, I want to leave you with a little treat.  Take fresh strawberries, wash them, remove the stems, and dry them on a paper towel.  If they are large, cut them in two.  Line cookie sheet(s) with parchment paper.  Put the clean strawberries on the cookie sheet, and bake for 3 hours in an oven preheated to 210 degrees.  This is a guilt free sweet treat.strawberries dried in the oven

Until next time…From our Butcher Block to your Table.
