I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day week-end. Now it’s tiime to get back to work. Over Mauri-1the week-end, I had a great meal and it certainly met my criteria.  It was fast, easy and delicious.

Hope you enjoy this as much as the Butcher and I did.  This will easily serve 4 hearty appetites.

I took one whole boneless skinless chicken breast and trimmed it and cut it into cubes. I marinated it with Teriyaki Sauce.

I took one yellow pepper, one sweet red pepper, a sweet onion and cut them into photo (10)one inch chunks. I heated my skillet on medium high, and added the boneless skinless chicken. I then added the pepper and onions to the mix. I finally added about 4 oz. of Moore’s Asian Teriyaki Sauce to the skillet.  This is a fantastic sauce.  It is sweet with just enough of a kick to make it interesting.  The Butcher does not like hot; however, he loves this sauce.   I cooked, stirring frequently for approximately 18 minutes until the photo (12)chicken was totally cooked.

As the chicken, peppers and onion were cooking, I made 2 cups of instant brown rice. photo (11)When the chicken was done, I put the rice on the plate, covered with the Chicken mixture and Asian Teriyaki Sauce. I added more of the sauce to my plate. It is so good, I think I could eat the sauce all by itself.

Taste of Wadsworth will be held in Downtown Wadsworth tomorrow night, Wednesday, September 4th from 5:00 until 8:00. The Butcher’s Wife is taking off tomorrow night. The Butcher and I will be enjoying the cooking from local restaurants in the Wadsworth area.

Have a wonderful evening. Until next time, From our Butcher Block to your Table.
