I am a huge fan of King Crab Legs.  I have gotten them in restaurants; However, it can get a little pricey.   I decided to make some at home for a Mauri-1celebration dinner.  I am hooked.  It was super easy and super delicious.  Another great aspect this is totally Paleo Lifestyle.  I found out that the crab legs are actually cooked and frozen on board the fishing vessel when they are caught.  This ensures the freshness when you cook them.  Cooking is so easy, you simply put the crab legs in a pot with about an inch of water in the bottom, put the burner on high, put the lid on the pot and steam them until you can smell them cooking. This should take about 5 to 7 minutes.   To be really authentic, you can invest in some butter warmers.  This will add an elegant element to your dinner, and if you are like me you want lots of melted butter.

For Valentines Day, your local meat market is having a special just for you.  King Crab legs $13.99 per pound.  Also, for a winning combination, add a Delmonico Steak for $7.99 a pound.  Your local butcher shop will honor these prices, but you have to tell them this is the “Butcher’s Wife Special” for our special customers.King Crab Legs

Enjoy and Happy Valentine’s Day!
