Pork

We make our own sausage every week. We have Mild Italian, Hot Italian, country-style and our signature, Hungarian Garlic Sausage. Call in your order for sausage so you will have just what you want. We custom cut all of our pork to your specifications.

Beef

ShermanProvision is BEEF! We specialize in high-quality aged Amish country raised beef! Our beef is slaughtered fresh and we have all your favorite cuts of meat. We have front and hind quarters available along with sides of beef for your freezer.

Poultry

Poultry is a big part of the selection in our meat cases at Sherman Provision. We have whole fryers, roasters, chicken breasts, (bone-in and boneless-skinless), chicken legs, wings, chicken gizzards, and chicken livers. We also have frozen duck available.

Cheeseburger Salad

I missed doing my Blog last week. When we were in Mexico my mom was hospitalized. I went down last Tuesday and spent time with her. Tuna Salad/Avacado wraps

We are still in tropical Mexico; however the weather in Ohio has also been tropical. I am sharing a recipe that my friend Deone made for lunch. It was healthy and delicious.  You can enjoy this anytime. Tuna Salad/avocado Wraps 12 oz. can of albacore tuna (drained) 1/2 avocado peeled and mashed 1/2 small sweet onion diced 1/2 small apple diced 1/2 cup of seedless grapes sliced 2 Tablespoons of mayonnaise Mix all of the ingredients and roll in washed leafy lettuce.…

Guido’s Sausage Shop

We are still in Mexico enjoying the sights, sounds and tastes–the weather is nice too!  Today the Butcher and I visited with Guido. He runs the Farmers’ Market in Nuevo Vallarta. He makes his own sausage. He uses natural casing. He uses 35 to 37. He uses good cuts of pork, beef and chicken for his sausage.  He makes Hot Italian and Mild Italian sausage. He said they are more likely to dry the sausage instead of smoking the sausage…

Beautiful Mexico

Well, as many of you know, the Butcher and I are in Mexico, but we are not forgetting about you. Today we went to the Riviera Farmer’s Market in Nuevo Vallarta. There were so many sights, smells and sounds it was overwhelming. I met a local artist. His paintings were amazing. Don’t you agree? Today this is my gift to you. Enjoy his palate of colors.
