What They Are Saying About Shermans...
Since we have been buying meat at Sherman Provision, our boys, ages 3, 11, and 14 won’t eat meat from anywhere else. In fact, if we have meat from anywhere else they tell us this isn’t from Sherman Provision. Even our kids can tell the difference!

Brookside was a very gracious host, and fun was had by all. I am not the only one…

Pig Roasts

You know, if my dad were still alive, he would be in his glory to be right in the midst of a pig roast. My dad was ahead of his time. We would always have boneless pork roasts and boneless beef roasts.  Dad was always the chef.  It was always cooked to perfection.   I know my dad would…

Potato Salad–German Style

I make a very unique potato salad. Since I am giving up my recipe for my famous potato salad (probably only in my mind), for the first time ever, you have to humor me as I tell you the history of this dish. When I was in the 8th grade the Einsendel family moved in next door to us. This was a really big deal because Frank Einsendel was my age. We had seen enough movies that we knew all…
