What They Are Saying About Shermans...
Since we have been buying meat at Sherman Provision, our boys, ages 3, 11, and 14 won’t eat meat from anywhere else. In fact, if we have meat from anywhere else they tell us this isn’t from Sherman Provision. Even our kids can tell the difference!

Then we’d head over to Grandma’s house for another round of Easter baskets. Grandma would have a ham and all the sandwich fixings spread out on…

Honey Baked Ham

Are any of you in denial out there? I can’t believe Easter is only 4 days away. We are sorting pigs, hams and lambs. It is a very busy and exciting time at Sherman Provision.  I have to be honest, I haven’t even really thought about the menu for Easter Dinner.  I hope the kids aren’t reading this.  I don’t want them to get a complex.  I know everything will come together.  I do believe I have a half of…

Pork Pesto

Last Friday night I did something I didn’t think I would ever do.  I participated in a Freezer Dinner Workshop.  My friend Lillian Turano, Tastefully Simple Consultant, was hosting a Freezer Workshop.  I had prepared meat for these workshops before and thought the meals sounded delicious.  Before I knew it, I was preparing meat for 5 participants, and one of them was me.  Yikes!  What had I gotten into?  I might have started a little shaky; However, by the end…
